Perched atop the lush Tamarindo hills, rich with flora and wildlife and only a 7 min walk to Tamarindo beach, is where you will find Casa Alegria. Prepare to be captivated by the dazzling views of the blue Pacific Ocean the moment you walk into the villa's open-concept living area. Beaming with natural sunlight, and furnished with superior comfort in mind, you and your guests can enjoy countless hours of lounging or taking in the magnificent sunsets, while sipping on cocktails.
Feel the warm embrace of the tropical air as you pull back the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, inviting nature inside, and providing access to the beautiful pool and balcony. Swim, relax or take a delightful siesta out on the lovely terrace where you can choose from a hammock or plush outdoor couches. When lunchtime rolls around, light up the grill and cook up a mouthwatering BBQ amid the palm trees and garden. In the evening, prepare dinners in the modern kitchen, equipped with everything needed to create savory masterpieces. Gather around the beautiful, handcrafted, wooden ten-person table to reminisce upon the marvelous adventures had while partaking in your feast. At the end of a long, satisfying day, retreat to your very own master suite where you can unwind with a soothing warm bath, before sinking into a freshly made king-size bed. Fall asleep gazing out at the mesmerizing night sky through the extra large windows, then awaken every morning by taking in the fresh air from your private balcony. In addition to these wonderful features, an extra queen bed and living space can also be found in the loft of the master suite, perfect for families. Two other spacious king-size bedrooms, with lovely ocean-facing balconies, can be found next to the master suite, and a 4th king-size bedroom on the main level, with direct access to the tranquil garden and terrace. A 5th cozy bedroom provides a bunk bed with a queen bottom and single top mattress, great for children or children at heart. Daily cleaning is included so you can focus on relaxing.

When it's time to explore the town, enjoy a 10 min stroll or choose the comfort and mobility of a golf cart, available for rent, to get you there. Park the cart at one of many parking lots around downtown and visit the local shops, assortment of international restaurants or relax on the silky sand of Playa Tamarindo. As the evening rolls around, grab a drink and enjoy the gorgeous sunset, while sharing laughs with your group. Spend the evening at the local open-air food court, trying all kinds of different foods, while enjoying live music, before heading back to your haven.

As part of your rental, our amazing concierge will contact you prior to your trip in order to find out your interests. There are a wide variety of excursions available, from water activities like, surfing, diving, snorkeling, sunset boat trip, deep sea fishing as well as massages, spa or chef services. In addition, there are a variety of land tours like canopy tours with zip lines, natural hot springs, white water rafting, and Rincón de la Vieja volcano.

Our concierge will meet you upon arrival, personally introduce you to your vacation home, and tell you more about the details of the home, the resort property, and any activities in which you might have already planned through her or that you might like to add to your stay.

  We spent the holiday weekend at the most amazing house in Tamarindo. We had several generations including a 1 and 3 year old. It was a great house for the young kids, especially with the shallow end of the pool. Easy to walk into town and the beach for the twenty Somethings! Our concierge made the trip east by contacting us ahead of time and coordinating all our outings and dinner reservations. Look forward to coming back and staying longer!

  This house although older, is perfect for a large group or a family getaway. Sunsets are amazing on the deck or sitting in the pool. The house has everything needed to live comfortably no matter how long your stay. Although it was just my wife and I this trip, we would bring our 3 adult children for the holidays and still have rooms to spare. It is centrally located to everything. Minutes from Tamarindo center & Flamingo is a short car ride.
  Romi was absolutely great to work with and did an amazing job helping us coordinate local activities. She's truly an asset to 5 Star.

  From the property manager, the daily housecleaner, groundskeeper and security guard, to the ocean views, pool and indoor/outdoor living spaces, this was a 5 star experience the moment we walked in the door! Mario & Natalia's crew were amazing and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, with unbelievable ocean and sunset views and just a short golf cart ride from the beach.   This was a girls trip and amazing is how I would describe the home. We were met by the property manager, Natalia, upon arrival. I had corresponded with her prior to arrival and she had already answered many questions about the home. Natalia gave us a tour of the home and all the information needed to help us get acclimated to the home and the area. She had a book prepared with info on restaurants, grocery stores, etc. that we used throughout the week. She also helped with dinner reservations. Mario, the other property manager, checked in on us the next day and also answered some questions we had. They were most helpful and very professional. The home came with a staff of two: Karen and Santos. Karen came daily and took care of the home and us. She shopped for us and prepared meals and cleaned up giving us the opportunity to relax and truly be on vacation. Smoothies and drinks were her specialty. She did all this with a smile on her face. Santos made sure the pool and grounds were immaculate. Costa Rica is a beautiful country. The home overlooks the ocean in Tamarindo and is the ideal place for watching the sun set every evening over the Pacific. It is a 5 minute walk to town and the beach. Because of the view, the home sits high up so the road is a bit steep but is easily navigable in tennis shoes. The home was in great condition and very clean. I would highly recommend this home. It is what helped make the week memorable.

  The house was amazing. Great for a group, better than photographs. More importantly the management was awesome, we threw them some curveballs with locking keys in the house and leaving a passport behind and they helped to expedite things. Would definitely come back.
