Upon entry to the condo using the convenient keyless door lock, your gaze will automatically be drawn past the sliding glass doors, to the vibrant colors on display beyond the balcony. Step outside to admire your gorgeous backyard full of tropical trees, sand, waves and a large inviting pool, as you sink into the sizable wicker couch to spend some time conversing with your guests, or reading a great book from the comfort of your private haven. As your appetite sets in, use your culinary skills in the beautifully modern kitchen, equipped with all of the tools needed, and bonuses like the useful coffee grinder, to create a delightful dish. Have your guests find a spot at the classic handcrafted, wooden table to enjoy a great meal together. Once everyone has had their fill, move on over into the livingroom to relax and digest on the oversized leather couches. Take this time to watch a movie with exclusive access to Apple TV or plan the exciting adventures you’ll have, before changing and heading down to explore the outdoors. Make your first stop at the fabulous crystal blue pool, where you and your guests can swim, lounge and cool down, while being just steps from the beach. When it’s time to change up the pace, take a lovely stroll down the soft, warm sand and a dip in the ocean. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a surf lesson and ride the world renowned waves of Playa Langosta. If you and your group are up for a short walk, venture into the town of Playa Tamarindo where you will find a larger variety of restaurants from all around the world, shops with the perfect local souvenirs to take home, and many activities to enjoy such as ATVing through the mountainous terrain, down the back roads of Tamarindo.

  We stayed at this condo in Playa Langosta. I have stayed at the same complex several other times but this unit is by far, the best. First is the location. The view of the ocean is beautifully framed by the palm and other trees. It is to the left of the pool so is more private and quiet.
  The condo itself is very well appointed with everything needed to enjoy the stay. Dishes, pots and pans and glassware were all top notch. The mid week cleaning was much appreciated as was the bottled water dispenser.
  5 Star was very helpful and responsive to any question or need.

  Our 1st trip to Costa Rica was wonderful. The Condo at Horizontes del Mar was beautiful exactly as it was pictured and such a peaceful spot in Langosta. It was fun to go into Tamarindo for shopping and dinner but we couldn't wait to get back to the condo for peace and quiet. The beach location was what we wanted and the sunsets were right in front of us every night! We felt very safe there. Five Star management took very good care of us while we were there when needed. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the beautiful porch overlooking the ocean was our favorite spot. We will definitely be back and stay there again!

  What a great place to stay for my family. Wife and 2 teenager kids loved this condo.
  We sat on the patio watching and listening to waves, in a very quiet part of Tamarindo. Convenient little grocery store is less than a 2 minute walk, pool was refreshing and a quiet peaceful beach was steps away.
  House set up was perfect and everything worked great (including washer/dryer, internet, etc.)

  We stayed in unit 206 which was well appointed and had everything we needed. The unit was clean and communication with the management company went flawless. We had no issues during our stay. We had a car which was needed if you like to travel out to dinner. The beach directly in front of the unit is private but rocky. You can easily walk down the beach and swim in other areas. This condo was perfect for our stay. My husband and I and our college daughter. The pool can get crowded at certain times of the day but it really wasn't an issue. Wifi worked entire time without issue so I was able to do some required work while on vacation as well. There is a guard on site 24 hours and I would definitely recommend unit 206 at Horzontes Del Mar to a friend. Enjoy.

  We enjoyed our stay. Our condo could have 6 guests however we only had 2 beach chairs for 4 adults. We still enjoyed the beach!
  The kitchen was well equipped. We don’t know if the area recycled; if so a recycling trash can would have been nice.
  The beds were comfortable yet the sheets in the master bedroom were pilling. New sheets would be nice.
  The location was wonderful! Thinking about returning!

This building des not have recycling unfortunatelly. The sheets in the master bedroom are not old and I would like you have let me know about the sheets while you were here to take care.   This vacation couldn’t have been better. Not only was the rental totally equipped, but the property management group was top notch. Not that we had any serious problems with the rental, but the small ones that we did were taken care of within the hour. The response time was amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and I will definitely only be using them for our future rentals. If we didn’t have what we needed, they found it for us. You could really tell they cared.The property was so relaxing, with probably one of the best views in Playa Langosta/Tamarindo area. The unit was spotless. It definitely met all our needs. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The place was very quiet because of the small amount of units in the complex. It also helps that it is a very small walk to the estuary for swimming and great surf. I could go on and on. We will be back to Horizontes Del Mar and only rent through luxury rentals.

  Super comfortable, clean, well appointed condo with nice furniture and features. Good beds too. Covered veranda is spacious, nicely furnished and offers a good view of the surf and ocean. You walk in on ground level to the second story #206. Walk down one floor to the pool and beach. This unit is tucked away on the 2nd floor south corner and is very private. Property is fenced and gated with excellent 24-hour security on site. Natalia from Five Star Property Management was an excellent hostess and super helpful. The few issues we had are being addressed by Five Star and the new owner of #206. This unit worked perfect fur us as two older, experienced surfers and their non-surfing wives. Surf right out front and a short walk down the beach, depending on the tides.
