Each bedroom is a haven of comfort, featuring air conditioning, plush beds, and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. On ground level you conveniently find three spacious bedrooms: two king-size suites (one with ocean view) and the bunk bedroom that sleeps up to 6 people as a result of the two bottom queen beds with twin beds on top. On the second floor two master king-size suites with electric blackout curtains, each with a bathtub, shower, amazing ocean view and private terrace invite you to unwind from a day of sun and fun. Additionally, Villa Amara has been designed with a smaller, sixth bedroom near the laundry area. Equipped with one queen-size bed and a private bathroom, it's perfect for any extra staff or family members you might like to invite.

Conveniently situated in Playa Langosta, 5min south of Tamarindo town and with its own array of high-end restaurants, shops and beaches, Villa Amara ensures peace of mind while your house mom takes care of you.

  From start to finish, Villa Amara was 10 stars! Our family adult group of nine people, all absolutely loved this villa and location. Communication and concierge service could not have been better. The house was in perfect condition, totally pristine and fully equipped. Everything is stylish and very high quality. If there was anything missing or anything we need, the management team responded and provided immediately. I have rented many luxury villas and their professionalism and responsiveness is so impressive. Villa Amara is in a perfect location and on a beautiful beach, which is even better than I expected. It is close enough to all the action and restaurants, yet far enough removed for seclusion and privacy. Everything is a quick golf cart ride or walk. The variety of adults in our group enjoyed having all the options available close by. The house mom took such good care of the rooms, the laundry and provided incredible breakfasts every morning. I cannot say enough good things about the view and incredible sunsets we experienced daily! We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and endless hours floating in the pool. Activities we did and enjoyed were: Spa day at Altos de Eros, Beach massages, catamaran sunset lunch cruise with Panache, surfing excursions with local freelance provider and golf at 2 courses. We enjoyed private chef services for 6 of the nights and 2 lunches. I highly recommend hiring their incredible pizza expert to do a wood fired pizza dinner, you will not regret it and it is worth every dollar! Five Star was such a pleasure to work with and were a wealth of information and so easy to work and communicate with. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Amara or rent this property again. Please note, that if you have young children or toddlers, be aware that the pool is all deep with no shallow part, benches or sun ledge, which was unusual for a new design. Also, the house is completely open with some hazardous steps. The bunk room doesnt have a TV.

  There really aren’t enough words to describe the week we just had.
  Five Star Tamarindo truly lived up to its name, and Villa Amara is nothing short of AMAZING. Every single day was a dream starting with our homemade breakfast with the most breathtaking views, followed by our carefully curated agendas for the day whether it was a beach day, zip lining, nature hike, white water rafting, boating, you name it, everything was beyond catered for us and we simply could not have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Costa Rica more — Pura Vida!

  I recently stayed at Villa Amara in Tamarindo, and the experience was unforgettable. Everything from the property to the service went above and beyond expectations, and I can’t recommend this place enough.
  
  The concierge team was outstanding. They organized seamless airport transfers, local transportation, and restaurant reservations, and they recommended activities like ziplining, ATV tours, and a boat trip. Their vendors were reliable and priced similarly to what you'd find online, but the convenience of having everything booked and confirmed through them made the trip so much easier. They stayed in touch to make sure everything ran smoothly, including coordinating pickups and keeping us informed—such a huge relief for a group of 13.
  
  They also created a detailed itinerary for our trip. With only six weeks to plan, this was a game-changer. We received a PDF of the itinerary before arriving, and a printed version was waiting at the villa when we got there. It included everything—activities, transportation, and even daily breakfast menus. This level of organization made the trip stress-free and so much more enjoyable.
  
  The villa itself is stunning. It’s spacious, spotless, and designed perfectly for large groups. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was ideal—about a 15-minute walk to town, either along the beach or the road. The property also has a great security system, which made us feel completely safe.
  
  The house mom was incredible. She made delicious breakfasts every morning, adjusted for dietary restrictions, and kept the villa immaculate. She even refreshed linens mid-stay when some guests left. Her pico de gallo was easily the best we’ve ever had—it was such a treat having her there.
